INACTIVE Southside Harmony Chorus

The Southside Harmony Chorus is a Chorus of up to 30 members who sing a cappella (unaccompanied) songs in Barbershop style. The chorus performs at various venues in the metropolitan area to entertain members of institutions such as retirement villages, nursing homes and similar venues. Previously, the Chorus has been booked to perform in conjunction with lunches, morning teas, anniversaries and various special events. Response from previous engagements indicate that this type of entertainment is well received by a wide range of audiences. If you book the Chorus for an event you can be sure of a lively, professional performance.

A typical hour-long performance includes:
- Chorus singing, popular songs in four-part harmony. Favourites such as Amazing Grace, Country Roads, Over The Rainbow, Danny Boy, Sweet Adeline, Edelweiss and Christmas Carols are representative of the repertoire. (An individual program can be negotiated to suit the audience.)
- Soloist and
- Community singing from prepared sheets, led by a Chorus member.
