Competing quartets may have noticed that on the Festival website Schedule there are 2 Session times. However, in the Order of Appearance there are 4 Session times.

Some of you may be confused about this. The explanation is that the Quartet Contest Semi-Final is a ticketed event with tickets sold for 2 separate sessions.

Best advice if you’re in a competing quartet is to avoid trying to remember what session you’re in and just note the actual time you need to show up as detailed in the Order of Appearance schedule.

As usual this year you will have access to a printed schedule of events and activities in your Festival Handbook which will be available at the Registration Desk when you register on arrival.

The schedule is also accessible on the Festival website via your device.

In addition, this year, we are also making the schedule available in Google Calendar
As well as being easily accessible, this will enable immediate updates of any last-minute changes to times or venues. This can also be accessed by clicking on the FESTIVAL SCHEDULE hot button on the Convention website as shown below.

Thanks to Russell Jones, BHA Western Region Chairman, for this great idea and for setting it up for us.
