Bio/Profile
As a performer Adrian has been involved with various groups for over 25 years but found his start in a cappella in 1997 when he joined a barbershop quartet and very soon after, Men In Harmony.

In 2002 Adrian became a foundation member of the Vocal Evolution chorus and was their first President, serving in that role for a number of years as well as in the Membership and Marketing portfolios in subsequent years, helping to guide them to three national Barbershop Harmony Australia (BHA) chorus gold medals.

During this time Adrian remained active as a quartet singer and has acheived an enviable level of competitive success. He has been awarded four BHA national open quartet gold medals and has represented Australia at five International contests with choruses and quartets.

Adrian became one of the first Barbershop judges in Australia/New Zealand when he was certified along with the inaugural group of candidates to qualify in 2004. He has served on judging panels at many contests around Australia and New Zealand as has also worked as a coach with various groups.

Outside of barbersbershop circles Adrian joined Naya Chorale when they formed in 2012. Amongst other things, he was fortunate to be able to travel to the USA with them to perform on the Carnegie Hall stage for a choral event directed by the renowned composer Eric Whitacre.

Adrian continues to sing with his quartet TLA since winning gold with them at the 2013 BHA National quartet contest in Perth. They have performed in and around Perth as well as in Adelaide, Sydney and the USA at the 2014 BHS International Quartet Contest in Las Vegas.

In 2014 Adrian was invited to take up the role of Music Director of Men In Harmony.

Born in Melbourne, Adrian has lived the majority of his life in Perth and currently resides there with his wonderful wife Lynell and their three children.
